Hello and welcome to my cybersecurity blog! I’m excited to share my journey, insights, and discoveries in the world of cybersecurity with you. My intent behind this blog is to be both, self accountability for continued learning, and to be informative to new cyber field entrants.

Current I am a security analyst at a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP), and have been there for a few years now. Before that I worked at my University, conducting research into the field of digital forensics.

Why “Slow Loris”?

You might be wondering about the name “Slow Loris.” While these animals are known for their slow and deliberate movements, in cybersecurity, Slowloris is also the name of a well-known denial-of-service (DoS) attack. This duality—the careful, methodical approach of the animal and the technical reference—represents my approach to cybersecurity: thoughtful, precise, and technically sound.
